It is a roll that is easy to make, and with the recipe I can't brag that it belongs to me, because I took it from my mother. So we get to work with the ingredients at room temperature.

Melt the butter in a pan with a thick bottom. Add the 3 tablespoons of flour and mix well so as not to become lumpy. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, and leave it on the fire until the composition thickens, having the consistency of a cream. Take the pan off the heat and add a teaspoon of salt.

Separate the eggs, and add the yolks one by one to the milk composition, mixing well after each one.

We beat the egg whites hard with a pinch of salt, then we incorporate them with light movements, from the bottom up, in the composition with the yolks.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Pour the composition into a 28/40 size tray lined with baking paper, and bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly browned on top.

Carefully remove the tray from the oven and let it rest for two minutes, then cover it with baking paper and turn the tray upside down in a firm motion. We roll the countertop with the help of the paper at the base and leave it to cool.


For the filling I used simple cheese combined with smoked, but I think you can make any combination of cheese, including meat and vegetables. So I put the cheese on the grater with big holes, I opened the roll, I put the filling and I rolled again. I put the roll in the oven for 5 minutes, also at 180 degrees, to thicken the filling.

We serve with great appetite as an appetizer or for breakfast with a large cup of milk (this is for children like me: P) or a cup of coffee for those who prefer this option.

The smoked cheese is put in a bag, tied tightly to the mouth and placed in a pot of hot water.
The cheese softens and can be shaped.
Meanwhile, prepare the cheese filling.
Put the cream cheese in a food processor, add the grated cheese, dill, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix until you get a homogeneous cream.
We take the cheese out of the bag, place it on a board or silicone sheet and with the help of our hands we quickly spread it in a sheet about 1/2 cm thick.
Place the layer of cream cheese and smoked salmon fillets on top.
Roll as tight as possible, then pass the roll through the sesame seeds and in, wrap the roll in cling film and put it in the fridge until ready to serve.

This time I prepared this Cheese appetizer roll with ham in combination with Natur- Delaco cheese cream and vegetables and it turned out to be a very good and good-looking appetizer.

500 g (or 450g) Sofia Cheese - Delaco
1 box (150g) Natural Cream Cheese - Delaco
200 g boiled vegetables (I used a mixture of vegetables)
a few thin slices of ham
150g-200g Grated natural smoked cheese

I was running as tight as possible. We move the roll obtained on food foil, which we sprinkle abundantly with poppy seeds and sesame seeds, we roll it, pressing lightly so that the seeds stick to the roll, then we wrap tightly in foil, we put the ends and we put the roll in the cold until the next day.


With the other part of melted cheese we do the same (if it hardens and can no longer be stretched do not worry you can reheat again in hot water and continue the process).

My advice would be to have all the other ingredients ready when you start assembling the rolls. So from a Sofia Cheese wheel of 450-500 g we will get two Cheese appetizer rolls.


Appetizer muffins with cheese and cumin, a simple and tasty recipe

About 20 minutes (depending on the type of cheese and its fat). Therefore, it is advisable to do a fork test after 10-15 minutes. If the fork penetrates the piece of cheese well and you feel that it is soft, it is ready!
When the cheese is soft, drain the water from the pot and spread it in a sheet of approx. 40 & # 21550 cm. while it is still hot, with the twister, on the work table which must be smooth. You can use transparent foil.
Grease this sheet with the paste above. Roll tightly with foil and leave to cool for 2-3 hours. Cut slices 5-7 millimeters thick.
It is served as an appetizer, accompanied by fresh vegetables. Goes well with red peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. In its absence, it can also be served with pickles.
